2nd Round: 2 sc in each sc around.

Join last picot loop with sl st to base of first picot made. Break off. Attach thread at center of 1 picot loop and work as for 6th round, but making sc in center of each loop (instead of in sc). Break off.

Second Motif: Work as for first motif to 5th round inc. Then join to first motif as follows: 6th round: *Ch 8, picot, ch 2, sc in center of picot loop of first motif, ch 7, picot, ch 2, skip 2 sc on second motif, sc in next sc. Repeat from * once more, and complete round as 6th round of first motif was completed. Break off.

Third Motif: Work as before to 5th round incl. Then join first 2 loops to next 2 loops of first motif as second motif was joined to first. Ch 8, picot, ch 6, sl st in center of picot loop on second motif (next to joining), turn. Work 8 sc over ch 6 just made, ch 6, picot, ch 2, sk 2 sc of third motif, sc in next sc. Ch 8, picot, ch 8, sl st in next loop of second motif, turn. Work 11 sc over ch 8 just made, ch 6, picot, ch 2, skip 2 sc of third motif, sc in next sc, and complete round as before. Break off.

Make 4 more motifs, joining each to previous and to first motifs as third motif was joined and joining to last motif to first and second motifs as well as to previous one. Break off.

Attach thread at center of 1 picot loop, counting to left of top sc bar, and work as follows:

1st Round: *4 picot loops, ch 3, ch 5 picot, ch 3, picot, ch 2, dc in same picot loop as sc bar was made, dc in 1st sc, ch 3,picot, ch 3, picot, ch 2, skip 2 sc, dc in next sc, skip 1 sc, dc in next sc, ch 3, picot, ch 3, picot, ch 2, skip 2 sc, dc in next sc, dc in same loop as sc bar, sc in 1st loop. Repeat from * around (42 loops in round). Join with sl st.

2nd, 3rd, and 4th Rounds: Picot loop in each picot loop around (42 loops). Join and break off. Make 21 more motifs same as second motif, but skipping 2 sc on time and 3 sc next time when making ch loops, thus having 10 loops instead of 12 loops around each motif, and joining each motif to center of doily as second motif was joined to first, but also joining 2 adjacent picot loops on each side of motif. Then continue as before, making picot loops around for 5 more rounds (84 loops in round). Join and break off.

Next Round: Attach thread to center of picot loop, ch 8, * dc in next loop, ch 5. * Repeat from * around. Join last ch 5 to 3rd st of ch 8 first made.
