To say the least, I'm disappointed in Bernat Baby Sport Yarn and will give it a 3.5 star review due to the roughness in touching it. Most cheaper or bulk ball yarns at least soften up after washing and drying but this product did not. There were no splices at all after using 2 balls. It is rougher than the smaller ounce yarns and if you're looking for a softer piece, just spend a few extra dollars or catch a sale to get a cushy finished piece. After all, baby should be surrounded in a comfortable blanket.

This 1940s lace crochet oval pineapple tablecloth measures approximately 66 x 80 inches when complete (per original instructions). Please note, it is important when a round says there should be so many spaces, etc., and gives a count that you make sure your round is accurate. Pattern has been corrected for Round 37 as the original instructions were incorrect as you can see by the comments below.
