SKILL LEVEL: Advanced

MATERIALS:
7 - 5 ounce Balls Red Heart Soft Yarn or 5 - 7 ounce balls Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn
Size H Crochet hook
Blunt Needle

Ch 245
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and each St across (244 hdc’s). Turn

Row 2: Ch 1, sl st in back loop of each st across. Turn

Row 3: Ch 2, hdc in ea st across. Turn

Row 4: DOUBLE ARROW: Ch 3, dc in next 2 sts. * Skip 3 hdc’s tr in next 2 sts. Going around front of tr’s, dc in each skipped 3 hdc’s. Repeat until last 2 sta, and dc in each of the last 2 sts.Turn

Row 5: Repeat DOUBLE ARROW row but dc in back on 2 tr’s.Turn

Row 6: Repeat row 2. Turn

Row 7: Repeat row 3, except hdc in top of each sl st. Turn

Row 8 - 9: BASKET WEAVE - ch 2, 3 fp hdc, 3 bp hdc, repeat until last st. Hdc in last st. Repeat for row 9.Turn

Row 10 - 13: Ch 2, * 3 bp hdc, 3 fp hdc, repeat * til last st. Hdc in last st.Turn

Row 14 - 16: Repeat row 8 three times.Turn

Row 17 - 19: Repeat row 10 three times. END OF BASKET WEAVE. Turn

Row 20 - 23: Repeat row 2 and 3 twice ending with hdc. Turn

Row 24 : DOUBLE ARROW ONE WAY - Repeat row 4. Turn

Row 25 - 28: Repeat row 2 and 3 twice ending with hdc. Turn

Rows 29 - 48: BASKET WEAVE: Repeat Row 8 thru 19. Turn

Rows - 49 - 53: Repeat row 2 and 3 twice ending with hdc. Turn

Row 54 : DOUBLE ARROW ONE WAY - Repeat row 4. Turn

Row 55 - 58: Repeat row 2 and 3 twice ending with hdc. Turn

Rows 59 - 67: BASKET WEAVE: Repeat Row 8 thru 19. Turn

Rows 68 - 72: Repeat row 2 and 3 twice ending with hdc. Turn

Rows 73 - 74: DOUBLE ARROW - repeat rows 4 and 5. Turn

Rows 75 - 77: Repeat row 3, 2, and 3, turn and start first short end row.Turn

SHORT ENDS:
Work DOUBLE ARROW evenly on each short end of shawl.

  2. I love this pattern, very pretty. Row 20 - 24 says to repeat rows 2 and 3 twice. That is four rows 20 - 23? I just kept continuing on adjusting the row numbers by one since there was no row 24. I hope I did this right, it looks fine so far.
