Size H crochet hook
Blunt needle to weave ends in
Ch 342
Row 1: Sc 2nd ch from hook, ch 5, sk 3 ch, sc in next ch. Repeat til last 4 chs, ch 3 and dc in last ch 5 space.
Row 2: Ch 5, sc in next ch 5 sp. Repeat til last ch 5 sp, ch 3 and dc in last ch 5 space.
Row 3: Ch 4, sc in next ch 5 sp. * Ch 3 sc in next ch 5 sp. Repeat
from * til last ch 5 sp, ch 1 dc in last ch 5 space.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 2, 2 dc in same sp. * Sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 2, 2 dc in same sp. Repeat from * til last ch 3 sp and sc in last ch 3 sp.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in same sp. * Ch 2, 2 dc in next ch 2 sp. * Sc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2, 2 dc in same sp. Repeat from * til last ch 2 sp and sc in last ch 2 sp.
Row 6 and 7: Ch 5, sc in next ch 5 sp. Repeat til last ch 5 sp, ch 3 and dc in last ch 5 space.
Repeat rows 3 through 7 until 9 patterns of solid stitches are done. Then repeat rows 6 and Do Not Fasten Off
EDGING:
Row 1: Working down 1st side, ch 3, sc along side stitches working
evenly. Working along edge, ch 3 and sc in each ch space. Work down next side and then work along next edge ending with a ch 1 and dc in beginning sc.
Row 2: Ch 3, 5 Tr, ch 1, in each ch 3 sp.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in same sp. * Ch 5, sc in 3rd dc of each 5 dc group. Repeat from in each ch 1 sp * ending with ch 3 and dc sl st to top of sc to join.
Row 4 - 5: Ch 5, sc in next ch 5 sp, and repeat til last space. In last sp ch 3 dc in next sp.
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in same space, ch 2 and 3 dc in same sp. * Sc in next sp, ch 2, 3 dc and in each ch 5 space. Join with sl st to top of beginning sc.
