Green Chili Bacon and Bison Meatloaf Recipe

Green Chile Bacon and Bison Meatloaf is an alternative to regular beef meatloaf's. A zippy southwest taste and venison or elk could be used instead.
1 1/2 lbs ground bison
1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

1/2 cup chopped green chili
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1/2 to 3/4 cups bacon pieces (frozen bits, pre-cooked)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground sage

TOPPING:
3/4 to 1 cup barbecue sauce of your tasting

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a bowl, except topping of barbecue sauce, and mix by hand until all ingredients are combined.
